What is a public drop-off location and what does it involve? Follow
A public drop-off location is a place with a collection box where members of the public can drop off hard-to-recycle waste to be recycled by TerraCycle®. A public drop-off location is typically set up and managed by a single person or a small group of people - the administrator(s). The administrator will be in charge of managing the public drop-off location, sending the waste to TerraCycle® and deciding how earned points will be distributed to schools or charities.
Public drop-off locations engage local communities and therefore result in larger amounts of waste collected. All public drop-off locations appear on the relevant programme maps to ensure that other collectors can easily find their nearest ones.
